An A+ for loose-ness!

I lost one of my loose teeth last Friday at school! My teacher put it into a little baggie and wrote my name on it so I wouldn't lose it!

I think this assignment gets an A+! :)

pancakes in p.j's...

Early this morning, mommy brought Zachary and I to school for "Pancakes with a Pal". We got to invite a friend or family member to have breakfast with us in the cafeteria.
It was also "Pajama Day" so we didn't even have to get ready for school!

Zachary thought the cafeteria was pretty cool and also got to meet some of my classmates. I told him that he would get to eat here next year, when he starts Kindergarten.

I attempted to demonstrate how to properly clean your plate so you can rush out to the playground before the morning bell.
As you can see by the picture, Zachary hasn't gotten the hang of successfully scarfing down his food yet.
(We'll work on that.)

yuck!

There's a boy at school that is constantly teasing me.
if you know me well at all, you know I DON'T like being teased! Just ask my uncle Kody!

The ratio of boys in my class are about 3 to 1, so us girls don't stand a chance.

On Tuesday, the class was lined up to go to P.E and a boy in line behind me named Brandon leaned over and kissed me on the cheek!
When mommy asked me what I did next, I told her I quickly turned my head in the opposite direction. The teacher made him go to the back of the line.

Mommy laughed at me when I told her this.
I don't understand why but I made sure to tell her, "It was NOT funny!"
She apologized for laughing.

Daddy, on the other hand sided with me and did NOT find this funny, either!

my first recipe!

mommy showed me this very easy, very yummy recipe that I can make all by myself.

her papa made it for her when she was a little girl. she said he would sit her on his lap and scoop in the ice cream and let her pour the milk over it and they would take turns stirring, until....

the Milkshake Boogie-Woogie!

mommy doesn't know why grandpa Duncan called it that but it doesn't matter because it's delicious!

try it out with your mom or dad.
or papa!

Milkshake Boogie-Woogie

step 1:

scoop ice cream into a bowl or glass.

step 2:

add a splash of milk.

step 3:

stir until you start to see ice crystals start to form.
stop stirring.

step 4:

ENJOY!!!!
( I know it's a milkshake but it's better with a spoon!)

a visit from Zach...

Zachary came to see my classroom this morning.
He thought everything was pretty cool!

I showed him the gym and the cafeteria.
And I showed mommy and him the little house that I made that I put a picture of my family in!

I gave Zach a big hug and said, "This is where you get to go next year!"
I think he's pretty excited about that.
